Saturday’s Trail Clean Up for It’s My Park Day

Thanks to all of the Friends of White Rock Creek Trail who joined the Dallas City Park and Recreation Department to help clean up our White Rock Creek Trail and Harry Moss Park on Saturday (March 31st).

Also, many thanks to the dedicated Park and Recreation staff (including Ken Beam, Jeremy McMahon, David Dixon) for their support of It’s My Park Day.

Here is a picture of our group as we prepared to ‘attack the trail’ and ‘dispose of the debris’ that had accumulated since our last It’s My Park Day. This was much easier than last year, probably because the Park and Rec. Dept had been active in cleaning up after the last the two floods earlier this year. However, we all appreciated the chance to help, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with the Park and Recreation Department to keep our Parks and Trails beautiful!
